The 2010 golf outing will benefit the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program. Endorsed by Major League Baseball, RBI has grown from a local program for boys to an international campaign encompassing more than 200 cities and as many as 120,000 male and female participants a year. RBI gives kids a chance to play baseball or softball in a positive environment, but more importantly assists children in disadvantaged areas by teaching them how to help themselves through goal-setting, self-respect, discipline, teamwork, and community pride.

This year's beneficiary is in conjunction with our fall NBBC tournament in Memphis, and our charity partner with the St. Louis Cardinals’ AAA affiliate, the Memphis Redbirds. The Memphis Redbirds Baseball Foundation funds the local RBI program that provides inner-city children with safe summer activity during a seven-week-long program of instructional baseball and softball. Participants join with children from their own community to form teams that travel throughout the city to play baseball. The RBI program is free to all boys and girls ages 6 through 16, who are provided baseball equipment, uniforms, transportation, and nutritious lunches daily. RBI renews interest in baseball while promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and individual achievement. The program has successfully routed hundreds of thousands of youths from the ills of gangs, drugs and violence.

Tax Deductible Donation - As this charity is a qualified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit.  Tax info available on request.

NBBC is a non-profit organization that raises money for baseball related charity organizations in conjunction with our annual baseball tournament. All proceeds from our event will go to our selected charity beneficiary. Our members fully support all of their own expenses related with participating in the baseball tournament, and provide personal donations to the charity in addition to those funds we raise.
Through the years, No Bats has donated over $1,000,000 to baseball and sports related charities, such as:  the Wounded Warriors Disabled Sports Project,  the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation, Diamondback Charities, the Nolan Ryan Foundation, the Cal Ripken Senior Foundation, Dave Dravecky's Outreach of Hope, the Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALS Foundation, and Cubs Care. Over the last five years our golf outing has raised almost $50,000 for charity.
This year's beneficiary, Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) is in conjunction with our fall NBBC tournament in Memphis, Tennessee and the Memphis Redbird Baseball Foundation.  All No Bats donations go to a worthy cause that meets the standards and traditions established by No Bats over the years. Our beneficiaries are typically an IRS 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charity organization.   For more go to the Website www.nobats.com
