The 2017 golf outing will benefit the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation

The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo. Anthony realized during his own battle with cancer that no matter how difficult fighting cancer was for him, it was even more difficult for his family. Anthony believes that an individual does not battle cancer alone, but that the whole family battles it together. The Mission of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation is to raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and their families battling the disease. The Foundation is run entirely by Anthony’s family, his close friends and his management team with Anthony providing oversight and leadership. All of us at the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation believe that every family deserves a fighting chance.

The No Bats Baseball Club is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting charity and goodwill through baseball. This year, as in the past, 100% of all funds raised by No Bats will go to our charity beneficiary in order to help them advance their mission. All net proceeds from our golf outing will go to that same cause, and your donation is tax deductible..

About No Bats Baseball Club

The NBBC is a non-profit organization that raises money for baseball related charity organizations in conjunction with our annual baseball tournament. Through the years, No Bats has donated nearly $1.6 million to great charities, and particularly baseball related charities, such as: Marlins Foundation, Cubs Charities, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Catfish Hunter ALS Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Memphis Redbirds Foundation, Wounded Warriors Disabled Sports Project, the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation, Diamondback Charities, Nolan Ryan Foundation, Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, and Cubs Care. Last year we raised over $12,000 for the Marlins Foundation, and over the last 12 years our golf outing has raised almost $150,000 for charity.
